It can also be good at school so you can learn about them and how you can make them and write things in them. You can also write on a wiki about what you do at school so that other people can read it.

 James>> It can be used in school for someone to put up a wiki about maths or any subject. For people to add onto it and discuss the topic. eg When i am saying what BODMAS is and then someone else has a differant opinion to the poster.

Wikis can be useful in class debates. Each person could write a post and another person could comment on that post. You can also use them for gathering information for a project or something.

wikis are commonly used to store information about certain topics so it can be used by other people or to be kept to be used at a later date. it can be on any topic or on some wikis it is based around a certain topic and information is only about that.

Wikis could be used for collecting info on a project or asking questions about info your not sure about and if someone is lying it will usually be very obvious e.g Julius Ceaser wasn't the leader of Rome he was the leader of Sesame Street.
