Social Networking 

Daniel M - How will we be learning about social networking at school? 

 

Mr Carey - if you have a look at the Course Outline, you will see that you are going to try and answer the question: "Should Social Networking be banned in Schools?".  Hence we might go to some social networking sites (if we can) and do some research on the topic.  Then you can decide whether students should have access to these sites whilst at school.

 

Podcasting

 

Student Choice of Task,  

Daniel M - What will we be able to do for a choice?? 

 

Mr Carey - You can negotiate what this might be, but it could be: creation of your own wiki, or podcast, or videocast (if you are feeling confident). In fact, any useful and suitable Web 2.0 application could be used to create "something" - feel free to negotiate. Good to see you thinking ahead.
